Bill Gates is the most long-lasting world’s richest man. The life of Bill Gates is filled up with achievements, successes, and victories. Bill Gates is one of those three persons of the Earth whose personal net worth is over $130 billion. Recently, an anchor asked Bill Gates that how many cars you have? After a long pause, he said “I don’t remember exactly that how many cars I have”.
Childhood and early life of Bill Gates:
The family of Bill Gates was fairly rich. So, it is not a story of rages to rich men like Jack Ma and others but Bill Gates had to work hard to reach this stage of life. The father of Bill Gates was a prosperous attorney and his mother was a teacher.
Bill Gates was a brilliant student and his grades were fantastic. He was exceptionally well in Mathematics. Bill Gates also has a passion for programming. He made a game at the age of 13. He took admission in a preparatory private school, the Lack side school at the same age.
As he very flared in programming, the administration of the school decided to buy him a computer from a General electric company. The school allowed him to pursue his interest by executing him from the classes. Bill Gates built his very first program in the GEC machine.
While in school, Bill gates used to work with Paul Allen to find bugs in the computer programs. At an early age, Bill Gates and his partner developed a program that can control and moderate the traffic of a region. For this amazing effort, Government gave him $20000 as a reward.
Startup of Microsoft Corporation:
In 1975, Bill Gates and Paul Allen co-founded a software company which was named Micro-soft. In the starting, the company was delivering small software products to different companies and was not able to hire a sales manager.
This was done by the mother of bill Gates “Marry Maxwell”. After that, Microsoft was facing some financial crises that made Gates and Ellen realize that Microsoft has fallen to the lowest affordable point and that was a thing to worry about. This issue was due to using of some pirated software.
But they had the courage to face the hurdles bravely and keep on track. They knew that failure is a part of success and struggling makes a person strong. They worked hard.
After the launch of MS-basic, Microsoft gained a profit of $50000. At that time, a well-known IT company, IBM was a multinational company and was to introduce the world’s very first personal computer (PC). IBM offered Microsoft to develop software for them and that was a good opportunity for Microsoft to excel their company.
But unfortunately, at that time, Microsoft had not the proper resources to develop an operating system (OS) for a computer. So, it's recommended to another company to develop the 0S.
After a few months, Microsoft introduced an operating system named “86-dos” and then MS-Dos, after a while. Directly after the launch, IBM began to use the MS-DOS as an operating system in their PCs and that proved to be beneficial for them.
Products of Microsoft Corporation:
A contract between IBM and Microsoft was signed in 1980 and with that Microsoft became a Microsoft corporation within a year. IBM launched the first-ever personal computer with MS-DOS and other Microsoft products like MS-Basic, MS-Cobol, and MS-Pascal, etc. The first mouse for the personal computer was developed by Bill Gates’ company Microsoft Corporation.
The first-ever Windows OS which was launched was Windows NT, then over the next few years, a series of Windows was launched including Window 95, Window 98, Window 2000, Window XP and Window vista, etc.
With the time, Microsoft expanded its products from Windows OS, Windows office suits, office 365, Xbox, Bing, Hotmail ad it goes on.
A man rich than Bill Gates:
In the interview, a few years ago, the anchor asked Bill Gates “is there anyone richer than you”. The bill Gates replied “Once, when I was not the richest man, I was at the airport and I was waiting for my flight, I bought a newspaper from a shop, I gave him $100 dollar, but he had no change, so he gave me newspaper for free, and that made me embarrassed.
After a few years, I again went to that airport and again bought the newspaper from that hawker and unfortunately, he had no change, so he gave me free again.
When I became World’s richest man, I went again to that Airport, in search of that hawker. I found him and asked him I bought 2 newspapers from you and didn’t pay the payment. Now I am the world's richest man. You can take me anything you want and he declined. I think, he is most rich than me because I am under the loan of his 2 newspapers.
Reading Habit of Bill Gates:
Bill Gates since his childhood, studies a lot and read books, and enhancing his knowledge is the hobby of Bill Gates. Bill Gates used to study 15 hours a day because he had a thirst for knowledge and that reading habit was not only in his childhood.
Now, he is in the top 5 richest men in the world and he says that he finishes 50 books a year which shows the love of Bill Gates with books. Reading motivates and increases the knowledge of the person. Reading is the habit of rich people.

Microsoft is still dominating the software market. Bill Gates has been successful in keeping changing the pace which led Microsoft to the world’s no. 1 software company. But from a few years, Bill Gates has had no involvement in Microsoft development. He dedicates most of his time to philanthropy and community projects.
