After the second defeat of India in the match against New Zealand, things are now so crucial for India. India was one of the favorites before the beginning of the world cup, they won their two warm-up matches but lost badly against Pakistan and Newzealand.
This is the time to calculate that how can India qualify for Semi-Finals?
Well, now the Indian team is dependent on other teams for their qualification for the semis. As they have lost badly in their first two matches, they have to win the next games with a big margin to give tough time to fellow teams.
Following are the challenges that India have to do to get into the knockout round:
India have to all their remaining match-ups
If India beat Namibia and Scotland with 50-60+ runs or 7-10 wickets with 5-8 overs to spare.
If India beat Afghanistan with 40-50+ runs or by 6-7 wickets with 3-5 overs to spare.
Now, the things that other teams will do to put India into the semi-finals:
If Newzealand beat Namibia and Scotland by 10-15 runs or by 3-4 wickets with 1-2 overs to spare
If Afghanistan beat Newzealand by 4-5 wickets or by 30-35 runs with 2-3 overs to spare
