How to deactivate an Instagram account:
Follow the following steps to deactivate your Instagram account:
1- Go to your web browser on a Mobile phone or PC/Laptop.
2- Search “Instagram on the web browser.
3- Open Instagram and log in by providing your data.
4- Click on your profile.
5- Then, click “edit profile” on the Home page of Instagram.

6- A page will open, click on “temporarily disable my account”, at the bottom of the page.

7- A page will open, tell them you want to disable it.
8- Re-enter your account password.
9- Click “Temporarily disable account”.

10- Your account will be deactivated, whenever you will want to reactivate log in bak to the account.
How to Delete Your Instagram account:
Follow the given steps to permanently delete your account:
1- Open your web browser on a PC or smartphone.
2- Search Instagram on the browser.
3- Log in to your account by providing the required data.
4- after logging in, type in the given text in the search box, “https://www.instagram.com/accounts/remove/request/permanent/”
5- You will find a page, tell them the reason, why you want to delete it.

7- Re-enter your account’s password.
8- Click on “Permanently delete account”.
